I share the stories behind clients’ brands all the time, but I have yet to share the story behind the Mangum Design Co. brand; fear not, today is the day I reveal all! Every brand has a story –here’s ours!
Mangum Design Co. was started in 2018 with the future goal to one day have this business be a source of income for our small family when I wanted to be home with my kiddos and not working at a full-time job outside of my home. Family is the heart of my business, and I aim to show my kids that they can build something from the ground up and make a difference with a little hard work, passion, and determination.
Now, let’s dig deeper into my branding. When you first take a look at my logo, you’ll notice a leaf emblem in the logo. My husband Jake gave me a beautiful necklace for an anniversary, and the leaf was designed to mimic this necklace. This small detail reminds me when I look at my logo that my drive behind this business is the desire to help provide for our family. It also helps me remember to keep family at the heart of my work. There are so many priorities in life, but my family is my number one priority always!
Next up, branding colors: my brand’s main color is navy. Navy portrays a solid foundation of trust, reliability, and knowledge. Mix this color with dark teal (gentleness, elegance, and serenity) and copper (comfort, homey-ness, and approachability) and you’re left with an encompassing vibe of the knowledge and expertise I provide! We are a business that you can trust and connect with for your most special projects.
