In early 2022, the ownership of the business transferred to Katie Lyn and she reached out to build a full brand experience, including a logo package. Here she is to share about her experience working with Mangum Design Co!
Emma: Tell us a bit about your business and the services you offer.
Katielyn: Prima Bella Beauty Team is made up of a team of talented, elite, Hair and Makeup specialists Who work together to bring you the best of the best! After receiving an inquiry from you we work to match you with the artists best fit for you and your big day so you know you are paired with the best for your needs! Due to the size of our team, we are able to accommodate large bridal parties in shorter amounts of time which allows you the ability to sleep in on your wedding day!
Emma: How did you know you wanted to work with us for branding your business?
Katielyn: Mangum Design Co offers a Unique experience that provides the knowledge & tools to step it up in your business. Emma’s focus isn’t on just “getting the job done” or “creating a blah logo” her focus is on providing a full brand to help engage your ideal client throughout time!
Emma: Did you learn anything about your brand that you didn't know or realize before branding?
Katielyn: The branding process allowed me to dig deep and truly realize what I wanted this business to be. We bought the business just months prior to booking our branding & I hadn’t taken the time to envision all I had planned! This process allowed and encouraged me to do so in a safe place!
Emma: Was there anything that surprised you throughout the branding process?
Katielyn: I was surprised at how simple it was yet how deep it dug! I felt like the tasks were very simple but just uncovered so much about my business and ideal client!
Emma: What elements of your branding are your favorite and why?
Katielyn: I love how my brand represents me, the company values, & my future clients… but no words are exchanged in the process of looking at it.
Emma: If someone were to ask you how your experience was working with us for branding your business, what would you say?
Katielyn: I would say that if they have a business, they need to invest in the experience themselves. Nothing compares. If you truly want to level up & target those dream clients then this is your next step!
Emma: What tip(s) do you have for other small businesses that are considering branding or getting a brand refresh for their business?
Katielyn: Just do it, but be ready to put in the effort! You need to allow yourself to take the time & dig deep to find out who your ideal client is and what they offer!
My personal favorite details from this project would have to include the logo mark, the rich purple in the color palette, and the sophisticated feel that you just don’t see in other hair and makeup artist brands brands. I also really love the floral pattern and gold foil finish on the business cards! There is a fun variety of alternate logos and a refined feeling to the brand that makes clients feel like the queens that they truly are!
